Apparel Co is a business in the clothing and footwear industry that markets, sells and distributes these items to customers.


 Order Processing

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, orders will be processed on the following business day from the day the order is received. “the following day” means that if an order is received between 10am on one day and 10am on the following day it will be processed within that next 24 hours of 10am to 10am.


Delivery policy

Delivery in South Africa

Your order should be delivered in a matter of days after you have placed your, however, once the order has been handed over to the courier service, we no longer have control over the delivery period. Deliveries could be delayed due to various reasons. In these instances, Apparel Co will not be liable for any consequential loss. Please ensure that you CHECK your delivery before signing for it. Apparel Co will not accept liability for missing or damaged items unless this is brought to the attention of the delivery company. Please do not sign for your goods until you have physically checked them and are satisfied that they are in good condition. Apparel Co uses a reliable delivery service. If there is nobody to sign for the package at the given delivery address, you will be phoned on the number you have provided in your Apparel Co profile. If you can not be reached, the delivery will be attempted in the following days. Please contact us if you have any special delivery requirements.

Apparel Co supplies free delivery for all purchases over R700. For purchases under R700, an additional delivery fee of R58 is charged. All major South African cities are included.

If you live on a farm or outlying area please contact us before placing your order to check if we can deliver to your location and/if an additional delivery fee is applicable.

 

International Delivery

We are still in the process of setting up our international courier service. In the meantime, please contact us before placing your order so we can calculate your delivery cost. 


Damage or loss

Apparel Co will not be responsible for any loss or damage to your product when couriered.


Export restriction

The offering on this website is available to South African clients as well as international clients. For delivery please contact us before placing your order as additional delivery charges will need to be added.


Return and Refunds policy

The provision of goods and services by Apparel Co is subject to availability.  In the unlikely event of unavailability, Apparel Co will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 30% administration fee. Orders must be cancelled within 24hrs of placing and paying for the order else no refund will be made whatsoever.

Apparel Co will only replace goods that are faulty due to poor workmanship or if the incorrect item has been delivered. Any discrepancies in the final product delivered to you must be reported to Apparel Co within 24 hours of receipt. In this event, we will arrange for a courier to collect the item. Once returned, the item will be inspected and provided the fault is as claimed, all the tags are still attached and the item/s have not been worn and/or washed, a new item will be dispatched to you.


Exchange Policy

If you have purchased an item/s and decide you would prefer a different size or a new item entirely there are condition in order to make an exchange. Firstly you must contact us to detail what you would like to return and receive in exchange. If the exchange is approved by us, you will need to courier the item back to us at your own expense and risk. Upon arrival, the item will be inspected and provided it is in perfect order, all tags are still attached and has not been worn or washed, we will proceed. If the new items cost more or less, you will either be refunded or billed the difference. You will need to pay for the delivery of the new item at our standard delivery rates.


Customer privacy policy

Apparel Co shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from:

By accepting these terms and conditions clients agree that Apparel Co may inform them via social media, email or SMS of promotions and new developments among the products and services we offer. Clients can opt out of notifications by requesting it via the email address supplied below.


Payment options accepted

Payment may be made via Visa and MasterCard credit cards or Visa, MasterCard and Maestro Debit Cards. Also by bank transfer into the Apparel Co bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.


Credit card acquiring and security

Credit and Debit card transactions will be acquired for Apparel Co via PayFast (www.payfast.co.za) and no credit card details are stored on the Apparel Co website.


Customer details separate from card details

Customer details will be stored by Apparel Co separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayFasts secure site.  For more detail on PayFast refer to www.payfast.co.za. Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction Currency is South African Rand (ZAR).


Prices

Apparel Co reserves the right to change prices without prior notice.


Variation

Apparel Co may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

*We operate primarily as an online store. All external orders will be processed in the same manner as they would online. Therefore 100% Payment Upfront is applicable.
